-purecreation: Reasons why the second season of Community was epic.→ 1. It was Annie and Troy’s season.I think we can all agree that this season gave a lot more focus to these two than season one, and personally I couldn’t be happier because they’re my two absolute favorites. Both Alison and Donald had some amazing opportunities to show their tremendous talents as comedians in some classic scenes like Annie having a mental break down over a pen or Troy’s whole brain crying but more than that, I was so happy with the character growth for both of them. We saw so many different sides of Annie this year: she went from her usual sweet self to a strong grown woman who supports herself financially, confronts her issues instead of avoiding them and in her spare time, shoots paintballs at bad guys (while looking incredibly good). Also, remember how she couldn’t even think of telling Troy how she felt about him last year? Not only was she able to move on from that, but this season, when the guy she liked was messing with her, she actually took him aside and told him to make up his mind. “Either you want me or you don’t.” As for Troy, the thing I love mostly about him apart from his crying and the completely random things he says is how much he loves his friends, especially Abed. His speech to Annie at his 21st birthday is one of the best scenes in the entire series.
